The State Controller’s Office issues pay to its employees on a monthly basis. Employees have the option of receiving pay warrants‚ or enrolling in the State’s direct deposit program.

Direct Deposit
All employees are eligible to enroll in direct deposit, which allows for all payments to be electronically routed from the State Controller's Office to an employee's financial institution.
Enrollments, changes and cancellations are accepted at the Center for Human Resources, and are then sent up to the State Controller's Office for processing.

Mandatory payroll deductions include:

. Forms should be submitted to the Payroll Office at least 10 days prior to the scheduled pay day in order for the change to take effect.

Lost, Stolen or Stale-Dated Warrants
If your pay warrant has been lost‚ stolen‚ or has an issue date older than one year‚ please contact Payroll Services immediately at 619-594-5251. Please note that it could take between two-three weeks for these requests to be processed by the State Controller’s Office.
